Weakness

Weakness

Today I read that I need not fear weakness

As it is the stage for Your Power and Glory

I don’t like this stage.. help me change my mind.

I do not like to be weak ever

However, that is what I am

I am weak in my body, and in mind.

Help me look with Your eyes

I need to see the Holy,

My way is filled with fear and self-will.

I want to depend on Your strength to sustain me

I don’t always know how to do that very thing.

Teach me, show me, slow me down even more.

For it is Your Glory that I care about

It is Your Power that changes everything

Keep me in Your sights.. show me the way.

I am Yours forever

I am weak, You are strong

Please help me relinquish my need to control.

You are Quality Control for the World

Forgive me for wanting to take Your place

Keep me in Your sights, show me the way.
