This Place of Tears

We went to Cancun on vacation and visited Xclaret for day of the dead. It was lovely, but I had a really hard time getting around, almost falling several times.. if people had not rescued me I don't know what would have happened! So the day after I allowed myself to cry about my situation.. and it brought great peace..  The last line about "those who are blind" is about all those rushing around, almost knocking me down by being unobservant.
This Place of Tears

11.1.2013 in Cancun

I allowed myself to cry today
Just sat in it and refused to move
Until You carried me through it all
Because yesterday was hard
Moving this lump of a body
To see all the beauty around me
And those moving at the speed of light.

So I sat in Your presence
And let myself feel
The Sadness
The Disappointment
The Outrage
The Reality
Of moving this lump of a body
To see the beauty around me
And those who can’t stop.

Teach me to return
To this place of tears
So I can walk securely, or roll, or stumble
All in Your care
My ability, my dis-ability
Moving this lump of a body
To see all the beauty around me
Next to those who are blind.

It seems to fall into the category of Aleatoric Art. I just scribble &  it looks
    like something
    to me, so
    I turn it into
    whatever I see.

Aleatoricart posted this description in September 2011 (this is an elevated view in my opinion):

"Aleatoric Art is the ultimate collaboration between
man and the elements. Happenstance, randomness
    and a twist
of fate’s unwilling wrist go in halfseys
with some of the most outstanding visionaries
the planet can boast in a peaceful
    yet often violent serendipity of
    creative cacophony
to produce works of art that go far beyond those
    of mere mortals alone."
