It could be very upsetting to have a few weeks like I have had, but I am choosing to not buy into all the crazy stuff that has come down the pipeline. I love this Psalm, number 93 in the Message:
"1-2: GOD is King, robed and ruling,
GOD is robed and surging with strength.
And yes, the world is firm, immovable,
Your throne ever firm— you’re Eternal!
3-4: Sea storms are up, GOD,
Sea storms wild and roaring,
Sea storms with thunderous breakers.
Stronger than wild sea storms,
Mightier than sea-storm breakers,
Mighty GOD rules from High Heaven.
5: What you say goes— it always has.
“Beauty” and “Holy” mark your palace rule,
GOD, to the very end of time."
My conclusion: no matter what happens to me, what ever happens in me, what ever anyone say about me, I know that I am God's loved, adopted daughter, completely forgiven, fully loved, fully accepted, and that He has me in the palm of His hand, with His angels surrounding me at all times. I need not worry about yesterday, today or tomorrow, because all of that is in the Hands of a Loving, All-Knowing GOD, who fights every battle for me and helps me to stand with my head held high.
Yesterday we heard the results of my neuropsychologist's findings. She said considering my education level and age, I am just about average when it comes to intelligence and cognitive ability. Alvin almost laughed out loud. When I told her that I had started 3 federally non profit organizations in the last 10 years, her mouth dropped. Alvin said, "Any one who knows Barbara would not call her average." He continued: "She is more intelligent and smarter than any of the college graduates I know. "
Also yesterday we saw what the neurologist logged into SDI for the reason I am off work. I looked up the code and it is dizziness and giddiness. We just laughed.
What can you do with all of this? Remember who you are Barbara Berens, don't for one second believe anything that anyone says, and stand firm and tall, knowing that you are right where God wants you, and you just go on shining that light! No one can take that away from
